About the role
The Area Sales Executive will lead territory sales activities, driving secondary sales and market penetration for Britannia products. You will act as the commercial bridge between field agents and the company, ensuring targets are met and brand visibility is maximized.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve secondary sales targets and set objectives for Area Workers (AW) and Area Sales Managers (AWSM).
- Communicate objectives, track progress, and motivate the sales team to meet business goals.
- Provide coaching, performance evaluation, and on‑the‑job support to AWSM.
- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, increasing depth and breadth of distribution.
- Identify and prospect new outlets, execute activations, and ensure proper merchandising and visibility implementation.
- Launch new consumer promotions, trade schemes, and products through communication and sampling.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities and report insights.
- Handle consumer complaints, liaise with quality teams, and represent the brand in the field.
Required profile
- Graduate degree.
- Strong competencies in market execution, business development, channel partner management, and selling & negotiation.
