Warehouse Handler II

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Warehouse Handler II to join its Kancheepuram facility. The role focuses on supporting efficient and accurate warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of materials.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect and store incoming materials following standard operating procedures.
• Pick, pack and issue materials to meet production and dispatch requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through stock logs, cycle counts and physical inventory support.
• Apply labeling, identification, FIFO, JIT and material segregation practices.
• Adhere to EHS, safety, PPE and 5S standards and report unsafe conditions promptly.

Required profile

• ITI or Diploma qualification, or equivalent warehouse‑related experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in warehouse operations or stores assistance.
• Basic working knowledge of ERP/WMS and Excel.
• Preferred experience in sheet‑metal, automotive, engineering, FMCG or logistics environments.
• Exposure to Lean, Kaizen or continuous‑improvement initiatives.
