Vocational Trainer

About the role

The Vocational Trainer will lead safety and operational training programs for mine employees and operators, ensuring compliance with DGMS guidelines and fostering a strong safety culture on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Vocational Training (VT) programs for mine staff and operators.
• Deliver safety induction and refresher training in line with DGMS regulations.
• Prepare training schedules, presentations, and practical sessions.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, certifications, and statutory documentation.
• Promote awareness of mine safety, SOPs, emergency response, and safe operating practices.
• Coordinate training needs with safety, operations, and HR departments.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Support the implementation of safety culture and compliance initiatives at the site.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid VT Trainer competency or certification preferred.
• 8‑10 years of experience in mining operations, safety, or vocational training.
• Retired professionals from mining industries, PSU mines, or large mining organizations are welcome.
• Strong communication and training abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of DGMS regulations and mining safety standards.
