Training Specialist

About the role

Amazon's Last Mile Learning team is looking for a Training Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that boost employee competencies across the last‑mile operations vertical. The role supports both new‑hire onboarding and continuous learning initiatives, helping teams meet performance goals while embodying Amazon’s core values.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise structured learning metrics and monitor results for assigned territories.
• Manage live performance metrics end‑to‑end and drive quality‑learning improvements.
• Conduct classroom and digital learning sessions on new processes, BQM, and other required topics.
• Deliver a variety of continuous‑learning courses and ensure timely completion of new‑hire training programs.
• Maintain data analysis reports in Excel to track progress and identify gaps.
• Partner with operations leaders to audit stations, address compliance issues, and close performance gaps.
• Identify, certify, and develop learning coaches.
• Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Training Specialist or corporate trainer.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as business needs dictate.
• Demonstrated commitment to Amazon’s leadership principles, including honesty, accountability, and continuous improvement.
