Technical Services Apprentice

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technical Services Apprentice to support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Alcon equipment at customer sites across India. You will work under the Apprentice Program, gaining hands‑on experience while ensuring equipment operates to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality service to internal and external customers, upholding Alcon’s values.
• Install equipment according to Alcon protocols and perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Commission instrumentation, monitor performance, and conduct post‑launch reviews at customer sites.
• Minimize equipment downtime and handle emergency service calls.
• Support sales by showcasing Alcon product advantages and assisting with AMC/CAMC renewals.
• Prepare and submit service reports promptly.
• Achieve service revenue targets set by management.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate or student entering an apprenticeship program.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work on‑site.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to follow standard procedures.
