Technical Product Owner – NW (Java, Microservices)

About the role

The Technical Product Owner – NW will lead the design and delivery of Java Spring Boot micro‑services, integrating with databases, message brokers and API gateways. Based in Bangalore, the role requires 10+ years of backend development experience and a strong focus on performance, scalability and cloud readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality Java Spring Boot micro‑services.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Apply test‑driven development and manage CI pipelines with automated testing.
• Engineer scalable, robust applications for on‑premise and public‑cloud environments.
• Optimize PostgreSQL indexes, Kafka streams, Docker containers and Kubernetes deployments.
• Draft API designs, build REST APIs and ensure proper use of HTTP and messaging protocols such as JMS and Kafka.

Required profile

• 10+ years of backend development experience with Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, Kafka and TDD.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+ and SQL fundamentals, including JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data JDBC or Jooq.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and performance tuning of Java services.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform.
• Proven ability to design APIs, build RESTful services and work with messaging systems.
