System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain and optimise our organisation's computer infrastructure. The role involves managing hardware, software, network connectivity and user access to ensure reliable and secure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage user accounts and permissions to control network access.
• Monitor day‑to‑day computer performance and resolve hardware or network issues.
• Update and maintain the computer inventory and equipment records.
• Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VoIP telephone, and AV system connections.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software.
• Endorse and apply system upgrades to ensure durability and performance.
• Assist in technical upgrading and maintenance of the entire IT environment.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities for hardware and network connectivity issues.
• Excellent multitasking skills and ability to handle multiple tickets simultaneously.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems and software applications.
• Experience with remote connection systems.
• Proficiency in antivirus software management.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
• Experience with VoIP telephone systems.
• Familiarity with AV system connections.
• User account and permission management.
• Computer inventory management.
• System upgrade planning and implementation.
