Staff Nurse – Patient Care & Clinical Support

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care, assessing patient health, maintaining accurate records, and supporting patients and families throughout their treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide bedside care, education, and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper operation of medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate care.
• Initiative, moral support, and a patient‑centred approach.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
