Staff Nurse – NIT (Faridabad)

About the role

The Hospital at NIT in Faridabad is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to deliver high‑quality patient care. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safe and effective treatment for in‑patients and supporting post‑operative recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Provide nursing care in line with established clinical standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals for coordinated care.
• Participate in quality‑improvement and infection‑control initiatives.
• Perform initial patient assessments and timely reassessments.
• Maintain daily inventory of medicines and equipment.
• Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative care according to protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health matters.
• Supervise IV staff in bedside hygiene, waste management, and routine patient needs.
• Prioritise emergency cases and liaise with consultants.
• Ensure accurate departmental documentation and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and ID‑card policy.
• Willingness to work shifts as per schedule requirements.
