Staff Nurse

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care within Apollo Hospitals, supporting the health and recovery of individuals across various departments. This role involves assessing patient health, administering treatments, and maintaining accurate medical records while working in a collaborative, patient‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms and maintain patient documentation.
• Administer medications, treatments and perform point‑of‑care tests.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patients’ health status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Provide bedside care, operate medical equipment and manage inventory.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• Academic excellence: 1st division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for documentation and hospital information systems.
