Staff Nurse – Clinical Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves providing high‑quality nursing care to patients across various departments, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting patient recovery and education.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patient health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide bedside care, including operating and maintaining medical equipment.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and support patients with compassion.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for documentation and record‑keeping.
