Sports Community Manager – Up to 30K

About the role

We are a fast‑growing startup building a pan‑India platform that connects athletes, coaches and fans through hyper‑local sports communities. As a Sports Community Manager you will be the on‑ground champion of our network, driving engagement, events and partnerships across cities.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and activate local sports captains to lead grassroots teams and events.
• Design and run weekly community campaigns such as tournaments, skill clinics and meet‑ups.
• Partner with gyms, academies and venues to co‑create branded experiences.
• Monitor community health metrics and provide insights to product and marketing teams.
• Represent community feedback internally to influence product improvements.
• Manage 10‑15 local ambassadors per city, coaching them on brand values, communications and event logistics.

Required profile

• Experience in sports academies, fitness clubs or amateur sports (playing or coaching).
• Proven ability to engage local influencers and coordinate events.
• Strong conflict‑resolution and community‑building mindset.

• Social‑media coordination on Instagram and Facebook
• Basic CRM tools
