Skilled Technician – Level III – Shop

About the role

The Skilled Technician – Level III works in a shop environment supporting manufacturing operations. The role combines equipment maintenance, automation troubleshooting, tooling design and continuous improvement to ensure reliable production across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, report hazards and use appropriate PPE.
• Apply quality standards, perform inspections, and document work according to PFMEA and work instructions.
• Execute preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance on robots, cobots and other manufacturing equipment.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance initiatives and improve equipment reliability.
• Develop and modify tooling designs using AutoCAD 2D/3D and apply GD&T principles.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation such as RFQs, purchase requests and tooling maintenance records.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist cross‑functional teams to eliminate production constraints.
• Coach less experienced team members and participate in continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a multi‑shift environment and support team members.
• Willingness to comply with export control or regulatory licensing requirements if applicable.
