Site Supervisor – Interior & Furniture Installation

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day execution of interior and furniture installation projects for Brownspell in Chennai. Reporting to the project manager, you will ensure that each site delivers on schedule, within scope and to the company’s high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of designers, craftsmen and vendors on site.
• Supervise site teams, monitor progress and enforce quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve on‑site issues promptly.
• Manage material availability and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Provide clear progress updates to project managers and clients.
• Support handover activities, including final quality checks and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven site supervision experience in interior fit‑out, furniture installation or construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for on‑site collaboration.
• Organised, with good time‑management and the ability to handle multiple sites or phases.
• Basic proficiency in project documentation and use of digital tools for reporting.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and local regulations.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in Chennai or similar markets is a plus.
