About the role

Actowiz Solutions is looking for a Server Administrator to manage and support the infrastructure behind more than 15 company domains, websites and applications. The role is on‑site in Ahmedabad and ideal for candidates with 1‑2 years of hands‑on Linux server experience.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and maintain server health, uptime, CPU, RAM, disk usage and bandwidth.
Configure and manage Apache/Nginx, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, virtual hosts and SSL certificates.
Handle domain and DNS configuration, including A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.
Perform server deployments, migrations, backups, restores and routine updates.
Set up and monitor Cron jobs, email/SMTP services and server logs.
Ensure server security through firewalls, SSH hardening, user permissions and regular patches.
Collaborate with development, SEO, digital marketing and other technical teams for deployment and production support.
Document server configurations, incidents and maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of domains, IPs and databases.

Required profile

1‑2 years of practical experience in server or system administration.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu server environments.
Familiarity with Apache, Nginx and PHP server stacks.
Experience managing VPS, cloud and dedicated servers.

Docker (basic)
Git / GitHub (basic)
Cloudflare and CDN configuration (preferred)
