Senior/Lead Salesforce Software Engineer

About the role

As a Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce at Rootstock Software, you will be critical in designing, developing, and delivering robust, scalable solutions that power our cutting‑edge platform. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the globe to solve complex business challenges, champion engineering excellence, and contribute to our mission of revolutionizing manufacturing and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, flows, and integrations while respecting Salesforce governor limits.
• Write clean, maintainable code following architectural patterns and promote Test‑Driven Development.
• Contribute to system design and scalability for moderately complex features and product‑level architecture.
• Collaborate with distributed teams, product owners, and stakeholders to gather hidden requirements and align on system changes.
• Deploy solutions using CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive platform stability.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of full‑stack development experience on the Salesforce platform, with additional Java and JavaScript exposure.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex tasks while guiding peers and influencing cross‑functional priorities.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset to solve multifaceted problems and anticipate system‑level challenges.
