Engineering Manager – Ecosystem (Bangalore)

About the role

BitGo, a leading digital‑asset infrastructure provider, is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Ecosystem team in Bangalore. The role involves close collaboration with US counterparts, occasional hands‑on coding to understand BitGo and blockchain components, and long‑term technical leadership of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth of BitGo’s ecosystem by supporting and integrating new blockchains for institutional clients.
• Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance and other stakeholders to define product and technical vision.
• Coach the engineering team and ensure high quality and timely delivery of work.
• Manage end‑to‑end availability and performance of critical services.
• Promote best engineering practices, documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Plan, estimate and prioritize roadmap objectives with product and management.
• Identify upcoming opportunities and risks together with company leadership.
• Coordinate with US and global teams, often aligning with PST/EST time zones.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong interest or experience in crypto and blockchain technologies.
• Proven ability to onboard as a manager in a new organization and hire top engineering talent.
• Track record of leading engineering‑wide initiatives and shaping product roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
