Senior Travel Advisor

About the role

Alike is looking for a Senior Travel Advisor to act as the bridge between customers and their next adventure. You will use your travel expertise to create personalised itineraries, drive bookings and ensure a seamless experience from planning to post‑trip support.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand their travel preferences, budgets and needs.
• Research, design and curate bespoke travel itineraries using Alike’s online tools.
• Generate profitable sales by identifying up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Manage bookings for accommodation, transport, tours and other travel services.
• Provide real‑time assistance to clients during their trips.
• Stay informed about global travel trends, destination updates and travel advisories.
• Collect and analyse traveller feedback to improve offerings.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and tech teams to share customer insights.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in travel package sales.
• Strong knowledge of popular destinations, cultures and travel trends.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Problem‑solving mindset with empathy for challenging customer situations.
