Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

About the role

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer to shape the experience of our open‑source observability platform. You will own end‑to‑end features, turn complex data‑heavy concepts into intuitive UI, and ensure performance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build complex workflows across dashboards, traces, logs, metrics, alerts, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Own large frontend features and systems end‑to‑end, from definition to production.
• Architect for performance using virtualization, progressive loading, smart caching, and selective rendering.
• Profile and improve slow interactions, large visualizations, and data‑heavy views.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, design system, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, founders, and backend engineers.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production applications with React and TypeScript.
• Think in systems and user journeys, not just individual screens.
• Experience with complex, data‑heavy, or highly interactive applications.
• Deep understanding of React rendering behavior and performance bottlenecks.
• Comfortable using browser profiling and debugging tools.
