Senior Product Manager – Finance & Account Management

About the role

Easyship is looking for a senior product manager to own the Finance and Account Management areas of its global shipping platform. You will shape product strategy, roadmap and delivery for payments, billing, invoicing, fraud and account lifecycle, working closely with design, engineering and cross‑functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Finance (payments, billing, invoicing, fees, reconciliation) and Account Management (sign‑up, verification, roles, permissions, closure).
• Reduce payment costs by optimizing payment method mix, multi‑currency settlement, provider migrations and lowering failures, disputes and chargebacks.
• Grow revenue through fee structures, processing charges, tax reconciliation and accurate VAT/GST invoicing across regions.
• Design and maintain fraud and risk controls, balancing loss prevention with conversion in partnership with Finance, CX and Compliance.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Sales, Legal and Engineering to deliver scalable money‑related solutions and act as the single product point of contact.
• Establish, monitor and report on metrics such as transaction cost % of GMV, payment success rate, dispute rate, revenue leakage, fraud loss and onboarding conversion.
• Author and review PRDs and opportunity assessments, ensuring clear trade‑offs, compliance and data considerations before engineering.
• Leverage AI tools in discovery, analysis, PRD writing and data accuracy checks, and champion AI adoption across the product team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years leading payments, billing or fintech products in B2B SaaS, marketplaces or eCommerce.
• Hands‑on experience with payment service providers such as Stripe or Adyen, local payment methods, multi‑currency settlement, disputes and chargebacks.
• Knowledge of account and identity solutions including KYC/KYB, role‑based access control and fraud‑detection or risk‑scoring tools.
• Understanding of tax invoicing (VAT/GST) and revenue accounting, with a proven track record of working closely with Finance teams.
• Demonstrated ability to move business metrics (cost, revenue, loss rates) with quantifiable results.
• Experience managing multiple engineering squads or roadmaps in parallel without losing depth.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to pull and interpret data independently (SQL or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field preferred.
