Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team in Gurugram, India. The role focuses on operating and securing Linux and Windows server environments, driving automation, and supporting virtualization and backup platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers, applying patches and regular updates.
• Monitor system health and performance, troubleshooting OS, application, and hardware issues.
• Automate administrative tasks, reporting, and system management using PowerShell and shell scripting.
• Implement OS and server security hardening in line with organizational policies.
• Support and administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM), including server builds, migrations, and resource optimization.
• Administer Microsoft SCCM for software deployment, patch management, and endpoint configuration.
• Manage Commvault backup solutions, including policy definition, restores, and job monitoring.
• Configure and triage alerts in Microsoft Defender for Identity and support remediation.
• Handle CyberArk certificate and credential management to meet security and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for server, backup, security, and virtualization issues.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience operating and securing Linux and Windows infrastructures.
• Strong PowerShell, shell scripting, and automation expertise.
• Deep understanding of IT systems, including servers, networking, and OS internals.
• Proactive approach to integrating automation into infrastructure and security practices.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills and ability to drive projects to completion.
