Senior Android Developer (Kotlin & Jetpack)

About the role

Capco is seeking an experienced Android developer to design, build and maintain high‑performance mobile applications for leading financial institutions. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, user‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Own features from design through testing and production release.
• Contribute to application architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver intuitive solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and stability issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Android development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Experience with unit testing, code quality tools, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java programming.
• Android SDK and modern development frameworks.
• Jetpack components: ViewModel, Room, LiveData, Navigation.
• MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Application security and secure coding practices.
