About the role

Join a leading technology services firm in Chennai as an SDWAN Engineer. This walk‑in drive seeks experienced professionals to support and enhance SDWAN solutions across a 24x7 operational environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide 24x7 operational support for SDWAN infrastructure, handling L1‑L3 incidents.
Configure, migrate, and troubleshoot SDWAN devices using Cisco SDWAN over BGP and OMP protocols.
Perform firmware and IOS upgrades on switches, routers, and firewalls.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth rollout of network changes and issue resolution.
Monitor network health using SolarWinds, Lancope, and Wireshark, and participate in status calls with clients.

Required profile

6 to 13 years of hands‑on experience in SDWAN design, migration, and operations.
Strong knowledge of L2/L3 switching, routing, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a 24x7 support model.

Required skills

SDWAN, Cisco SDWAN, BGP, OMP, SDWAN migration.
L2/L3 switches, routers, firewalls, wireless devices.
Network protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IPSec, NAT, PAT, MPLS, VSS, VPC.
Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, ISR/ASR routers, Arista devices.
Switching technologies: VLAN, VTP, DTP, STP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
Aruba Wireless, AnyConnect.
CCNP certification (preferred).
Monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Lancope, Wireshark.
DNS, DHCP knowledge.
