Rheumatologist – Medical Position

About the role

The Rheumatology department at Manipal Hospital in Electronic City is seeking a qualified specialist to join our clinical team. The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders, providing comprehensive care to patients with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and gout.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient history reviews and physical examinations to identify rheumatologic conditions.
• Order and interpret targeted laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations.
• Monitor disease progression and adjust therapies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, orthopedic surgeons, and primary care physicians.

Required profile

• Board‑certified rheumatologist or internal medicine/pediatric specialist with a focus on rheumatology.
• Experience managing chronic autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
