Resident Medical Officer (MBBS) – Kanpur

About the role

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will work in a busy hospital setting in Kanpur, providing essential medical care to admitted patients and supporting consultants during rounds and procedures. This full‑time position is suitable for recent MBBS graduates as well as candidates with up to two years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients in wards and the emergency department.
• Assist consultants during patient rounds, investigations and minor procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient case sheets, treatment charts and other medical documentation.
• Provide basic medical care, respond promptly to patient needs and handle minor emergencies.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Implement treatment plans prescribed by consultants while adhering to hospital protocols and patient‑safety standards.

Required profile

• MBBS degree with a valid registration with the NMC or State Medical Council.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
