Reservations Associate

About the role

The Reservations Associate supports Marriott’s guests by handling all reservation inquiries, changes, and cancellations. Working from our Indore office, you will ensure accurate booking information and deliver a high level of service that reflects Marriott’s commitment to wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and recommend appropriate room types and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Document special requests and accommodate them where possible.
• Answer questions about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input accurate data into the reservation system.
• Code special room types such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, and wholesale reservations.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and adhere to all company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific certifications needed.
