Relationship Manager – Joint Liability Groups

About the role

The Relationship Manager – JLG will deepen relationships with banking customers, focusing on the creation and management of Joint Liability Groups (JLGs). You will drive client acquisition, oversee loan disbursement and collection, and lead a team of field officers to deliver best‑in‑class service.

Key responsibilities

• Deepen existing portfolio to ensure customer stickiness.
• Map household needs in assigned villages and manage zoning activities.
• Conduct end‑user checks post‑disbursal and achieve monthly and annual group loan booking targets.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities based on client lifestyle and risk profile.
• Generate new business leads, open accounts, and contribute to liability business penetration in new markets.
• Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new sales, referrals, and account retention.
• Maintain high collection efficiency through disciplined follow‑up.
• Perform field audits and customer verifications to ensure account quality.
• Gather market intelligence, benchmark against competitors, and recommend process improvements.
• Manage and develop a team of field officers, overseeing their performance and attrition.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience.
