Associate Relationship Manager – Joint Liability Group

About the role

The Associate Relationship Manager – Joint Liability Group (JLG) supports the Relationship Manager in building and deepening banking relationships with households and community groups. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, creating and managing JLGs, and delivering high‑quality loan and savings services.

Key responsibilities

• Map household needs in assigned villages and conduct zoning activities.
• Perform end‑user verification after loan disbursement and meet monthly/annual group loan booking targets.
• Identify client needs, cross‑sell banking products, and generate new revenue streams.
• Lead generation, account opening, and achievement of individual and branch sales goals.
• Maintain high collection efficiency through disciplined follow‑up.
• Ensure accurate loan and savings documentation and coordinate data entry with operations staff.
• Monitor compliance with bank policies, conduct field audits and customer verifications.
• Gather market intelligence, benchmark against competitors, and propose process improvements.
• Support livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 0–2 years of relevant branch banking experience.
• Strong understanding of rural banking, loan cycles, and customer relationship management.
