Record-to-Report (RTR) Specialist

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Record-to-Report (RTR) Specialist to join its Finance & Corporate Services team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing statutory reports, ensuring compliance with SEC and US GAAP, and supporting the month‑end close process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual 10Q, 10K reports, financial statements, footnotes and MD&A.
• Record timely journal entries in the General Ledger in accordance with US GAAP.
• Perform variance analysis of balance‑sheet and P&L accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and post correcting journal entries.
• Research and apply evolving accounting guidelines and compile variance analysis reports.
• Extract and analyze data from Oracle, FCCS and SmartView.
• Provide financial data schedules for audit and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance.
• Participate in SOX walkthroughs and evidence internal‑control compliance.
• Document and update desktop procedures and support special projects.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control principles.
• 6‑7 years of accounting experience, specifically in the Record‑to‑Report process.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience interviewing, hiring and training team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle financial systems.
• Experience using FCCS and SmartView for reporting.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SOX compliance and audit support.
