Raw Material Planner

About the role

As a Raw Material Planner at Monster Energy, you will own the flow of raw materials that power the business. You will drive timely planning, generate purchase orders, and ensure inventory levels support sales growth and continuous operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders according to company purchasing policies.
• Confirm purchase order details with vendors, including delivery dates, quantities, and units of measure.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and cross‑functional team members.
• Track and expedite purchase orders by coordinating with suppliers and carriers.
• Maintain purchase order data in SAP to support operational plans.
• Conduct demand reviews with commercial teams and supply‑plan reviews with stakeholders before SAP submission.
• Ensure planning parameters in SAP are accurate and optimize inventory holdings across the network.
• Identify, report, and mitigate slow‑moving or obsolete raw‑material risks.
• Monitor potential stock‑outs and expedite orders when necessary.
• Support new product launches by coordinating raw‑material supply with product development teams.
• Evaluate supplier delivery performance and provide forecasts.
• Coordinate raw‑material quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in new item code creation, BOM verification, and related activities.
• Handle import shipments and customs clearances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in inventory management, planning or supply chain.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of import procedures and customs clearance is a plus.
