Radio Jockey (Telugu)

About the role

The Radio Jockey (Telugu) will host live and recorded shows, creating engaging content that aligns with editorial guidelines and brand positioning. The role also involves producing video clips for social media and performing voice‑over work for commercials and promos.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and script live/recorded shows in line with editorial guidelines.
• Shoot, edit and post videos on various social media platforms to grow follower base.
• Perform voice‑overs for commercials, show promos and station elements.
• Generate ideas for special events or themed days.
• Conduct content research, interviews and sound‑bites for shows beyond personal assignments.
• Track, monitor and analyse competing radio channels for music trends, content formats and specials.
• Contribute to celebrity interview questionnaires and execute outdoor broadcasts (OBs).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Programming Heads, Producers and other Jocks.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Programming Head or Producer.

Required profile

• Strongly engaging personality with excellent communication skills, great voice and diction.
• Digitally savvy and avid user of social media platforms.
• Screen presence with the ability to act in video content.
• Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders like Programming Heads and Producers.
