Python Web Developer – Build & Maintain Websites

About the role

We are looking for a Python Web Developer to take full ownership of Harshwal's external websites and internal admin panels. You will build, update, and maintain all web properties, working closely with the DM Leader to ensure content, integrations, and analytics are delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Harshwal's main site (harshwal.com) and related sub‑domains using Python frameworks.
• Create and enhance a custom admin dashboard that allows the DM team to manage content, blogs, banners, and SEO metadata.
• Integrate website forms with internal CRM, data flows, and email systems.
• Deploy code to Ubuntu 22.04 servers on Digital Ocean and internal infrastructure via SSH/SCP.
• Configure and manage Nginx/Apache, SSL certificates, domains, sub‑domains, and DNS records.
• Monitor uptime, performance, and page speed, resolving issues independently.
• Implement on‑page SEO in coordination with the SEO consultant.
• Maintain Git version control, write clear deployment documentation, and collaborate with the graphic designer on UI updates.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional able to work independently without relying on an IT team for routine releases.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with the DM Leader and design team.
• Attention to detail for SEO, performance monitoring, and documentation.

Required skills

• Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI) – 1+ year hands‑on experience.
• Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Databases: PostgreSQL or MySQL – schema design, queries, migrations.
• Linux server deployment: Ubuntu 22.04, Digital Ocean droplets, SSH, SCP, UFW firewall.
• Web server configuration: Nginx (reverse proxy) or Apache, SSL via Let’s Encrypt.
• Domain & DNS management: A record, CNAME, sub‑domains.
• Version control: Git & GitHub – branches, pull requests, merge conflict resolution.
• REST API design and integration.
