Python Backend Engineer – Microservices & APIs

About the role

We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer to join our Product Development team. The role focuses on innovation, engineering excellence, and simplifying cloud experiences for our customers while building SaaS and PaaS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, reusable Python code with comments, unit tests and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery, QA, product and design teams.
• Build secure, scalable micro‑services and APIs that deliver real‑world value.
• Stay curious and keep up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.
• Promote usability best practices and code reusability across projects.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of software development experience, including 4+ years with Python 3.x.
• Proven experience designing micro‑services and working with modern cloud‑based architectures.
• Strong problem‑solving ability to turn complex requirements into working features.
• Self‑motivated, able to meet realistic deadlines and communicate clearly.

Required skills

• Python 3.x, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Celery, SQLAlchemy.
• Relational databases and ORM (SQL/SQLAlchemy).
• Micro‑services architecture and API design.
• Azure cloud platform (including Azure Data Factory and Databricks).
• Familiarity with front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
