About the role
You will lead the purchasing function of a leading hotel, ensuring alignment with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards while meeting the expectations of employees, guests, and owners. The role supports the Materials Manager in planning and procuring all hotel materials and services.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Materials Manager in planning and executing procurement of hotel supplies and services.
- Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance with hotel policies.
- Administer contracted services, monitor performance, and resolve any issues.
- Ensure purchasing activities adhere to Hyatt brand standards and corporate strategies.
Required profile
- University degree or diploma in Finance, Hospitality, or Tourism management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager in a large operation.
- Strong problem‑solving, administrative, and interpersonal abilities.
