Program Manager – AI‑Led Lending Collections

About the role

Paytm, India’s leading mobile payments and financial services platform, is seeking a high‑ownership Program Manager to drive AI‑led transformation initiatives across its Lending Collections ecosystem. The role sits at the intersection of business, product, technology, data and AI, requiring the ability to translate business problems into production‑grade AI solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and collections stakeholders to discover operational pain points, automation opportunities and AI use cases, and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
• Produce and maintain detailed BRDs, functional requirements, user stories, process flows and solution documentation aligned with evolving product and technology designs.
• Identify, evaluate and champion Generative AI, LLMs and intelligent workflow opportunities, guiding them from ideation through development, testing, deployment and adoption.
• Act as the bridge between business/product and engineering, breaking complex requirements into executable user stories and ensuring clear communication of the “what” and “why”.
• Own program governance, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks and issues while driving regular stakeholder reviews and cross‑functional alignment.
• Leverage SQL to fetch, analyse and validate data, using insights to size opportunities, monitor performance and measure AI initiative impact.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in project/program management, product management or technology program management within FinTech, lending or collections, with a strong understanding of lending and collections processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Finance or related field; MBA/PGDM is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on proficiency with JIRA for backlog, sprint and issue management.
• Working knowledge of Figma for reviewing product flows and wireframes.
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Understanding of AI/Generative AI, LLMs and Agentic AI concepts and automation use cases.
