Production Officer

About the role

The Production Officer will lead and optimise manufacturing operations at our plant, ensuring that production runs smoothly, on schedule and meets quality standards. This role collaborates closely with procurement, inventory, and safety teams to maintain efficient workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production processes and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Plan and schedule production activities to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor inventory levels, managing stock to avoid shortages or excesses.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout all production stages.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to maintain adequate raw material supplies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production department within the FMCG sector.
• Proven ability to prepare and execute production plans efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and dispatching procedures.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management and quality control practices.
