Product Development Specialist – QA & Data

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Specialist in Product Development focused on Quality Assurance and Data. You will support application software throughout its lifecycle, from design and development to testing and production support, ensuring solutions meet high standards of security, scalability, and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement, document, maintain, and support application software in line with Mastercard standards.
• Create high‑quality, secure, and scalable software solutions based on technical specifications.
• Research and evaluate alternative technical solutions and emerging technologies.
• Conduct feasibility studies, logic designs, detailed flowcharting, and cost‑time analysis.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines, manage production incidents, and participate in on‑call pager rotation.
• Document software programs following best practices and Mastercard QA/QC processes.
• Assist senior team members with documentation template modifications and process improvements.
• Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
• Demonstrated Mastercard Core Competencies.
• High‑energy, detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.
