Post Production Producer (Director & Post Producer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director & Post Producer to lead films from concept through final delivery. The role combines strong storytelling instincts with hands‑on production and post‑production expertise, working on a variety of corporate, government, documentary and digital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise films, conduct research, develop treatments, scripts and client pitches together with the Production team.
• Produce and assist on corporate films, government films, documentaries, music videos, motion‑graphic pieces and other digital content.
• Plan and execute shoots, managing cue sheets, crews, locations, equipment and overall production coordination.
• Oversee the entire post‑production workflow, including footage sourcing, editing, graphics, music, colour grading and final delivery.
• Collaborate closely with editors, directing edits for story, emotion, pacing and visual quality.
• Perform independent editing in Premiere Pro when needed, applying knowledge of Adobe tools, basic graphics, motion graphics and VFX pipelines.
• Leverage ChatGPT and AI image/video tools for research, scripting, visualisation, pitches and AI‑assisted content creation.
• Coordinate clients, vendors, budgets, timelines and multiple project deliveries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience across direction, production and post‑production.
• Proven track record with corporate and government film projects.
• Strong research, writing, communication and visual storytelling abilities.
• Hands‑on understanding of shoots, editing and post‑production processes.
• Comfortable managing editors, crews, vendors and client relationships.
• Enthusiastic about AI‑driven filmmaking and emerging creative tools.

Required skills

• Premiere Pro
• Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects and related tools)
• AI tools such as ChatGPT and AI image/video generators
