Plumber – Site Installation (Assam & Northeast India)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Plumber to join our field team, working on water‑treatment and industrial piping projects across Assam and the broader Northeast India region. The role involves hands‑on installation, fitting and commissioning of various pipe systems and pumps on site.

Key responsibilities

• Execute GI, UPVC, HDPE and MS pipe laying, jointing and fitting works.
• Install submersive, centrifugal, dosing pumps, blowers and control valves.
• Fabricate and fix pipe supports, perform flange connections and pressure testing.
• Assist in installing treatment‑plant equipment such as screens, filters, aeration systems and clarifiers.
• Read and work from pipe layout and equipment installation drawings.
• Coordinate with civil and electrical teams for embedded works and equipment positioning.
• Ensure all installations follow design drawings and engineer instructions while maintaining site cleanliness and safety protocols.

Required profile

• ITI certificate in the plumber trade (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of site installation experience, preferably on STP, ETP, WTP or industrial piping projects.
• Physically fit and willing to travel and stay at project sites across the region.
• Basic ability to interpret technical drawings.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with GI, UPVC and HDPE piping systems.
• Pump installation expertise (submersible, centrifugal, dosing, blowers).
• Pipe threading and welding coordination (plus).
• Fabrication of pipe supports and flange connections.
• Pressure testing of pipelines.
