Photographer for Guest Services on Cruise Ship

About the role

Responsible for shooting pictures of guests in various locations on and off the ship, including embarkation gangways, port days, pool decks, formal nights, and dining areas. The role supports guest experiences by providing high‑quality portraits and event photography throughout each voyage.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted sales, image count, and sell‑through targets each voyage.
• Provide a positive first impression to every guest with a warm greeting and professional appearance.
• Produce well‑exposed, focused, and printed images that meet company standards.
• Perform department inventories, transfers, deletions, price changes, stock rotations, and bar‑coding of prints as directed.
• Ensure equipment is used and maintained correctly, resolving any malfunctions promptly.
• Complete all duties in line with company Core Values and Service Essentials program.

Required profile

• Formal photography education and training preferred.
• At least two years of event photography experience, including portrait work in large settings.
• Prior sales experience.
• Demonstrated experience using professional‑grade digital cameras.

Required skills

• Experience with studio lighting and digital lab equipment.
• Proficient with Windows and Mac computers, Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (or similar programs).
• Familiarity with photo equipment such as Nikon D7200, Nikon flash systems, Hansel Studio flash systems, Konica R1 & R2, Fuji Frontier, and Noritsu.
