Pharmaceutical Packing Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Packing Operator to join our USFDA‑approved pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The position involves operating and monitoring packing lines for tablets and capsules while ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA regulations, and company SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blister packing machines, bottle‑filling lines, and related equipment according to batch records.
• Perform in‑process checks such as pack integrity, labeling, and batch coding, documenting results accurately.
• Execute equipment cleaning, changeovers, and preventive maintenance following SOPs.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure data integrity in line with ALCOA+ principles.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major problems to maintenance.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packing operations (OSD preferred).
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and documentation practices.
• Ability to work in a controlled environment and follow strict SOPs.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 25–50 lb, wear PPE, and work in a cleanroom.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with blister packing machines.
• Hands‑on experience with bottle‑filling machines.
