Operational Accountant – Book to Report

About the role

The Operational Accountant – Book to Report will lead external reporting activities for Bosch entities, ensuring accurate financial statements under both Local GAAP and IFRS. You will work closely with global teams to drive process efficiency, implement standards, and support automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver external financial reports for Bosch entities.
• Manage end‑to‑end reporting and preparation of financial statements in Local GAAP and IFRS.
• Ensure efficient finance processes and propose solutions for stability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Implement global standards according to Central Process Guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including desktop procedures and work instructions.
• Contribute to automation projects and provide analytical recommendations to management.
• Collaborate independently and within a global expert team, including remote regions.
• Utilise reconciliation tools such as Blackline where applicable.

Required profile

• CA, CPA, CIMA or CMA qualification.
• 3‑5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and structured performance.
• Excellent communication skills for worldwide collaboration.
• Proactive attitude with ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
• Assertiveness and ability to deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of Bosch business models and related risk impacts.
