MYP/IGCSE Individuals & Societies Teacher – Jaipur

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, student‑centered Individuals & Societies teacher to join our secondary school faculty in Jaipur. The role involves delivering Humanities subjects within the IB MYP and Cambridge IGCSE frameworks, encouraging inquiry, critical thinking and global citizenship.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in History, Geography, Economics, Global Perspectives and related Humanities disciplines.
• Implement inquiry‑based, concept‑driven and interdisciplinary learning aligned with the IB MYP philosophy.
• Develop unit plans that meet MYP objectives, concepts, contexts and assessment criteria.
• Contribute to curriculum review, development and vertical alignment across grade levels.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school‑wide initiatives.
• Support co‑curricular activities such as educational trips, Model United Nations, debates, and service‑learning programmes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, International Relations, Social Sciences or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within the IB framework or IGCSE, preferably MYP.
• Strong understanding of the MYP Individuals & Societies curriculum and solid subject knowledge across Humanities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
