Mobile Application Developer (Java)

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality mobile solutions across iOS, Android, Hybrid and React Native platforms. The role focuses on leveraging advanced Java expertise and deep knowledge of mobile architectures, design patterns and APIs to deliver seamless, integrated applications for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop complex mobile applications for iOS, Android, Hybrid and React Native environments.
• Integrate reusable software packages and assets, ensuring smooth interaction with other system components.
• Apply API knowledge to guarantee reliable integration with backend services.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues and implement updates to maintain optimal performance.
• Utilize advanced Java programming to create and maintain robust mobile codebases.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Strong background in advanced Java development.
• Experience with mobile architectures, design patterns and API integration.
• Proven ability to develop for multiple mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Hybrid, React Native).
