MIM Consultant (French) – 8+ Years Experience – Mumbai

About the role

The organization is seeking a seasoned MIM Consultant with fluent French to lead major incident management for its banking infrastructure in Mumbai. You will act as the single point of accountability for restoring critical services while coordinating cross‑functional technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end handling of Major Incidents, minimizing downtime.
• Coordinate support engineers and engage additional support groups as needed.
• Follow a systematic process from incident opening to closure.
• Assess incident complexity and trigger Crisis Management when required, liaising with the Crisis Manager and senior leadership.
• Track incident progress, communicate status to management, and publish concise updates based on priority.
• Facilitate ad‑hoc conference bridges, business chat groups, or direct contacts to ensure diagnosis, action plans, and initiatives are shared across technical towers and geographies.
• Drive pragmatic discussions, make timely decisions, or escalate to higher management when consensus cannot be reached.
• Activate and manage the Incident WAR Room.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Incident Management, Infrastructure, or Application Support.
• Background in banking, preferably capital markets or corporate banking.
• Proven experience with crisis management and executive‑level communication.
• Strong IT literacy with knowledge of the overall IT ecosystem and operations.
