Medical Officer

About the role

The Medical Officer will lead comprehensive health services for employees and their families across a designated zone or state. This role combines clinical care, emergency response, wellness program implementation, and liaison with external medical providers to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Provide preventive, curative, and emergency medical care in‑person and virtually for employees and family members.
• Manage the on‑site medical centre independently, including budgeting and resource planning.
• Implement Emergency & Disaster Management protocols and conduct internal audits and reporting.
• Liaise with hospitals, ambulance services, and other EMS providers to maintain strong partnerships.
• Support corporate medical teams in developing medical infrastructure, wellness initiatives, and monthly health programs.
• Conduct pre‑employment health checks, first‑aid training, ergonomics and indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and participate in state leadership meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical field, preferably in corporate or offshore settings.
• Medical degree (MBBS) with additional postgraduate or diploma qualifications such as AFIH.
• Proven experience coordinating medical services across multiple office locations.
• Experience in emergency training and occupational health services.
