Mathematics Lecturer – Remote Task‑Based Contract

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Lecturer to work remotely on a task‑based contract. You will apply advanced mathematical expertise to support AI model evaluation and research projects over a three‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced mathematical models and computational techniques to solve complex problems across multiple domains.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing mathematical insight for research initiatives.
• Stay current with cutting‑edge mathematical literature and research papers.
• Design and solve advanced mathematical reasoning problems for AI model training and evaluation.
• Contribute to benchmarking and problem‑solving workflows for large language models.
• Analyze complex mathematical concepts and deliver rigorous, structured solutions.
• Support evaluation initiatives focused on advanced reasoning and applied mathematics.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Strong expertise in at least four of the following areas: computable functions & mathematical logic, algebra & number theory, linear algebra & matrix theory, topology & geometry, analysis, probability & statistics, applied mathematics.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex mathematical problems through research, publications, or projects.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with experience in multidisciplinary teams.
• Access to a desktop or laptop with reliable internet; LinkedIn profile required.

Required skills

• Python (preferred for data analysis and modeling).
• Data analysis experience (optional).

What we offer

• $250 per approved task.
• Remote work with flexible scheduling (4–40 hours per week, including a 4‑hour overlap with PST).
• Short‑term contract (3 months) with the possibility of extension.
