Maintenance Engineering Specialist – Relocation to Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineering Specialist to join the Maintenance Solution Department (MSD) within Global Manufacturing Excellence. This permanent, full‑time expat position requires relocation to Saudi Arabia and offers an attractive relocation package.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance processes, management strategies, and performance management frameworks.
• Conduct maintenance health assessments, including PM and PdM strategies, organization structures, manpower and cost analyses.
• Perform data‑driven benchmarking of maintenance performance (spending, effectiveness, wrench time, SAP taxonomy, planning & scheduling, personnel competency, budgeting, RAM modeling).
• Prepare regular performance reports and KPI reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Support line maintenance teams in applying approved programs such as TPRM and GM reliability models.
• Design alternative parts or systems in collaboration with engineering and vendors for prototype equipment.
• Represent MSD on committees and recommend contractor‑assigned work with defined scopes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the downstream Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong technical competence in maintenance programs and practices.
• Experience with risk‑based processes such as Reliability‑Centered Maintenance.
