Maintenance Engineer – Automotive (Shift)

About the role

As a Maintenance Engineer you will join Expleo’s automotive team to keep critical production lines running smoothly. You will work on shift‑based operations across vehicle assembly, paint shops and test‑bed facilities, supporting the company’s push toward autonomous and electric mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance activities.
• Respond to breakdowns and execute corrective actions.
• Support robotics and automation equipment used in assembly lines.
• Drive continuous improvement, energy, cost and safety initiatives.
• Maintain 5S standards in assigned areas.
• Prepare daily activity reports and weekly KPI performance dashboards.
• Track PM abnormalities and generate breakdown reports with reduction plans.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of automotive maintenance experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (including 24/7 paint shop operations).
• Analytical mindset with strong reporting and communication skills.

Required skills

• Automotive equipment knowledge (BIW, Paint, Assembly, PWT).
• Maintenance domain expertise in preventive and predictive strategies.
• Robotics and automation support.
• 5S methodology.
• Documentation and reporting tools.
