Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer will safeguard the property by preventing theft, fraud and safety incidents. Working full‑time on‑site in Patna, you will collaborate with front‑office, housekeeping and management to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, back‑of‑house zones and access points.
• Operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems in real time.
• Respond promptly to security alerts and emergency situations.
• Document incidents accurately and support investigations with management.
• Enforce security and safety procedures, including routine checks of locks and alarms.
• Assist in training team members on loss‑prevention best practices.

Required profile

• Experience in retail loss prevention, hospitality security or corporate security.
• Strong communication skills for professional interaction with guests and stakeholders.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain detailed records.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with security reporting tools.
• Formal training or certification in security or loss prevention is a plus.
